The Breed

Thank you for your interest in the Miniature Bull Terrier!

They are an active, mischievous, smart, fun loving breed who make great companions and excel in performance sports and conformation events. Miniature Bull Terriers are known for short bursts of intense energy but then often settle down for a good snuggle and a lick of your toes and ears.

While they are an energetic breed, and love a good walk or hike, they are not suited for running long distances. They are athletic but care must always be taken to not let them overdo it. They love to be with their humans and always want to be where you are; whether that’s in the car running errands (safely in their crate or attached to a harness and seatbelt) or in the kitchen while you’re cooking or even in the bathroom supervising your shower! They are super companions and good with children but often don’t know their own strength so they need to be supervised and trained. A crate is mandatory

The first year and half is the most challenging with this breed but all the training you put into them during that time you will reap the benefit of in their following years. They have true joie de vivre and never miss an opportunity to make those around them laugh.
